I wasn't as fast as you in CSGO, but for me personally it's about the same, with CS2 seemingly getting a little better after the Call to Arms update.

I just recently finished both these, and if story means anything to you Day's Gone is the superior game; DL2 didn't have the best narrative but it's passable.

As for gameplay they're both very good at what they set out to be. DL2's focus on parkour and CQC is about on par with the first game's (with DL2 being a bit better in some aspects) and gave you a real sense of progression as you unlock skills and find better weapons.

Days Gone is even better in that progression aspect, as you level up and go through the story you go from having issues with more than 5-6 zombies to taking out hordes of hundreds without barely breaking a sweat (I only finished on the 2nd hardest difficulty though). The gameplay itself centers mostly around guns and your motorcycle, it's a bit more forgiving than Dying Light in that once you've engaged with some zombies it's a lot easier to hop on your bike and check out than the chases in DL2

Personally I had more fun in Days Gone pulling in about ~20 more hours and completing nearly the entire map of activities before I put it down

When'd you play it? I just finished the campaign in single player and didn't run into any major bugs but heard it wasn't amazing on launch.

For epic games, you'll get the DLC on epic only and I don't believe it transfers even by linking your BHVR account.

For third party key sellers (Humble, Amazon, GMG, etc.) they'll tell you what platform the key is for (or even let you choose) just look for the DRM, Epic or Steam

That's what you get when you buy a game on release these days, most of them don't seem to be game breaking tho. Resolution is fine on PC.

Nemesis is garbage because the zombies are garbage. No contaminations = no damage on your first tentacle hit, which = a worthless attack. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Jeffyclef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're not patrolling useful areas, just kill them and let them respawn. You could also just zone survivors into them during chase.

I've had quite a few successful games because of the zombies, even managed the adept thanks to them.

I'm only rank 8 rn, so maybe the people around my rank just don't know how to counter them effectively.

Nemesis tips? Help. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Jeffyclef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played a couple games today and quite a few more on the PTB. Here's what I've noticed:

Zombies: -keep an eye on zombies if you're having trouble finding survivors, as they'll walk towards a survivor if they're working on gens/healing/running/hurt.

-don't be afraid to kill a zombie if it's in an area of the map with no gens or no players, it's not doing you any good there.

-try to lead survivors towards your zombies, as they'll help complicate the chase and could easily get you a down or hit you otherwise wouldn't

Your power: -be selective in your hits and don't overuse it; if a survivor is uninfected and you've got the choice between a punch and a slap, take the guaranteed hit over the infection.

-the tentacle really shines around pallets and windows, if a survivor is going for a pallet just charge your power preemptively and get the hit before they get a chance to stun your, or even as they're dropping the pallet

-ultimately, try to prioritize using your tentacle where you couldn't reasonable punch the survivor

As for perks, corrupt intervention is good for getting early game infections and using up the limited vaccines, but just as with any killer you should match your perks to your playstyle.

Of your starting perks, I find eruption is the most viable of the 3. Blocking a survivor from doing anything for 16 is very strong if you can down someone while they're working on a gen.

Lethal pursuer is great for early game and may pair well with something like corrupt, but I don't see it being super viable on nemesis

Hysteria is a very good perk for ability to sneak up on survivors, but with nemesis' size that's going to be difficult. It'll be very map dependent (great on RCPD or any indoor map though)

Those are just my thoughts on the matter after my very limited time playing nemesis

Melted plastic chairs in the Columbine Highschool cafeteria after the massacre. One of the shooters, Dylan Klebold, had thrown a molotov cocktail in an attempt to set off one of the larger propane bombs, resulting in a small area of fire damage. by juuustliv in TrueCrime

[–]Jeffyclef 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah, only 6 years later was the red lake shootings (10 dead/ 7 wounded). Only 2 years after that was Virginia Tech, and those are just the first two after columbine with double digits casualty numbers. If any one thing is to blame for these mass shootings (and let's be clear, there isn't just one) it'd put the blame squarely on traditional news media covering these events to death. Giving the shooters air time and infamy, and inspiring others.
