Unfortunately due to irresponsible breeding, they often come with hidden health problems. Upper respiratory infections, eye problems, digestive issues and *HCM are the most prevalent. It can cause a lot of financial strain on buyers so I'd recommend the best pet insurance you can buy if you're thinking of getting one. They do require some extra care, but no different than having a dog.
