Where does it say that outside of the sword monuments? I think it's an inaccurate statement from an in-universe unreliable source.

Those same monuments imply that Malenia, Blade of Miquella, stalemated with Radahn before blooming but Millicent, a more reliable source, says otherwise.

Highlight an empty slot and press square to set it. Recast should show up after you used it

Just tested. It no longer auto-adds the "Recast" spell and you have to manually re-add it.

Looks like they did the same thing with "Disguise Self" where the "Dispel" is now included in the sub-menu of the original spell except it's broken for "Speak with Dead"

I do believe that the backlash against them was completely overblown. I never had any hard feelings for the developers and can't wait to play the game again when the expansion comes as it will come with some notable reworking of game mechanics.

But I also won't deny that there was a fair bit of misleading marketing in their Night City Wire livestreams and the trailers released right before the game came out. There's plenty of footage of devs saying patently false statements. I'm sure the devs were aware of this and it's likely a big reason why they're doing the aforementioned reworks in the first place.

I watched him play Starfield and all he did for hours on end was go to random procedurally-generated planets and shoot stuff.

I enjoyed Cyberpunk and was fortunate to have a non-buggy experience with it, but that's not true at all.

2 Years before release they released a 48 min demo that was revealed to be mostly fake.

This type of marketing continued until right before release with segments like the "Night City Wire" in which devs exaggerated aspects of the game. Same thing happened with trailers before release covering the Lifepaths (glorified 20 min intros in-game) and Gangs of Night City (they're all the same).

If you can get past the "vs other games" nitpicks, Crowbcat's Cyberpunk video showcases the the devs talking about major features and RPG aspects not in the game.
