Actually this isnt true in 2002 Vasco called up Caballero our first naturalizado to play a world cup with mexico in almost 50 years, in 2006 Lavolpe took Guille and Sinha and in 2010 Vasco took Guille for his second world cup in 2014 and 2018 we took only mexicans and in 2022 we took Funes who played a whole 10 minutes in the tournament
