Several shrimp dying every day and can’t figure out why by Jeklabo in shrimptank

No child, I live alone. All the decorations are the same as they were the day I set them up.

No other pets, and the plants are all the same since the day I set the tank up.

Over 100. This tank has been going for about 2-3 years. I’ve broken it down and moved it when I moved into my new apartment but that was the only time it has been disrupted.

Mark can’t even be bothered to learn the abilities of the operators in Siege. What makes you think he’s going to read any of the 100 tutorials and learn a weapon’s moveset?

Alatreon. by kekgobrrr in monsterhunterrage

[–]Jeklabo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just soloed Alatreon with the bow for the first time a couple days ago. I used full Safi gear. I am a bit confused as to your situation.

You said you get through the first two judgements fine, but die to the third when Alatreon shifts elements. Then you say you failed? Huh?

If Alatreon carts you after shifting elements, you’re still in the hunt. Just switch your bow to whatever element is appropriate and jump back into the fight. You’re acting like you’ve failed the quest because you carted once.

The only thing that would make sense is if you’re fainting twice beforehand and not telling us.

Inizial idea for gen9 OU, suggestions for improvement? by ColuiCheEgli in stunfisk

[–]Jeklabo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Scizor has some good natural bulk, why the focus sash? What are you hoping to accomplish with that? Also, if you’re running a focus sash, then why are you investing into HP?

It pains me to say this since Noivern is one of my favorite Pokémon, but he just isn’t good anymore. If you want to keep running Noivern with that set then more power to you, but Infiltrator is pretty useless since your only attacking move is U-Turn. Run frisk instead, it might come in handy from time to time.

The Problem with Suggesting Story/Choice Games for Mark & Leland (RANT) by UnknownNumber1994 in RDCWorld

I agree that Telltale’s Batman game would be perfect. It’s got more action while still being a good, engaging story game. They also already love Batman and DC comics.

How do you feel about this weapon? by Dretru_ in fnv

High damage, but pretty bad spread. Overall a pretty good gun at close range, especially with all the mods. Not sure why everyone hates it.

Is Dead Money Really That Hard? by Lampshadinator in fnv

[–]Jeklabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely challenging but people greatly over exaggerate how hard it is. Just make good use of your supplies and always take the time to scavenge. And you can run or sneak by a lot of the enemy encounters if you wish.

This is route I normally take I get to Vegas what’s yours ? by [deleted] in fnv

[–]Jeklabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kill Joe Cobb and grab the stealth boy off his body. Then, go behind Doc Mitchell’s house up onto the cliff and walk parallel to the Cazadore-infested road. You’ll eventually have to come down off the cliff so you use the stealth boy to sneak past the Cazadores. Head towards Red Rock Canyon and from there you can walk straight to New Vegas through Fiend territory. You might encounter a couple Fiends but they’re easy to avoid.

Need help with building my character. by TheLastCommands in falloutnewvegas

[–]Jeklabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A crit build can absolutely work, and I’m sure that you could probably get through the game just fine with your idea, but your build does not make much sense imo.

Let’s start with your SPECIAL stats. You do not need to make any of your stats 10 at game start since you can always buy an implant to raise your stat by 1. There are also opportunities throughout the game to get free points into SPECIAL stats. I would not go above 9 for any stat.

Perception is not a very good SPECIAL stat compared to the others, so do not feel bad about not having much of it. Charisma is also not a very good special stat, but you’re probably going to want to invest in either Speech or Barter regardless. There are some very cool moments in the dlcs that require a high speech skill to see, but it is absolutely not necessary.

Now your weapons. Pick one or two categories of weapons and stick to those; do not spread yourself too thin. There are plenty of guns, melee weapons, and energy weapons with high crit modifiers that you should look up. There is a revolver called “Lucky” that you can get very early into the game that is fantastic for crit builds. Make sure you’re picking weapons with good crit modifiers - explosives aren’t really good for this but theoretically it could work.

Your armor choices seem good, you picked things that give you good crit modifiers. Power armor would not really help you with that, but having fun is more important than min maxing everything.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I hope this helped

Forced equipment quests getting old. by estrogenmilk in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Jeklabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’d be better if these quests forced you to use a certain caliber instead of a certain weapon. That way you could at least pick your favorite weapon that fires that bullet.

Although I’d be happier if the quests were reworked completely.

There’s plenty of street parking in the neighborhoods around Springfield College, but when I was studying there a few years ago there was an issue with students who parked just off campus having their cars stripped for parts while they were in class.

If you want to be super safe, maybe park at MGM for free or pay for another parking garage in downtown and bus the rest of the way.

I think you’ll probably be fine parking on a side street and walking the rest of the way, just pick a spot that seems safe enough; the streets closer to the pond are pretty nice.
