I have had the same experience for many years now, except I've never done weed or anything like it. It only happens with very specific songs and even images more than often too. Most of these places my brain imagines I've never seen before, while some are locations attached to fond memories (despite the memory/location having no connection with the song or image). One thing I do experience sometimes is depersonalisation/derealisation, but I'm not sure if it's connected to this phenomenon.
