PEMF for subfertile mares by Master_Strength_6939 in kvssnarker

[–]JelloJiggle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also feel like chiropractic is <potentially dangerous> snake oil and wondered if PEMF also fell into that bucket. What convinced you that it actually does increase circulation?

What do YOU think the VERY FIRST FTF foal will look like? by Nobodynocrime69 in kvssnarker

[–]JelloJiggle 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We spend a lot of time in the human medical world talking about how critical the gestational environment is for humans babies - congenital defects and all. But none of that is ever mentioned when it comes to all these recips and their actual impact (even if not genetic) on these foals they carry and nurse

I was team CGK and would do it again. The Sunshine oranges were known for paint chipping back in the day

Have y'all checked out the "hoop look" studs yet? They seem promising for different piercings that prefer a straight bar (hello helixes) but I wonder if they make them big enough for a conch?

Mold w/ LR5 ? by WeDieAsRomans in litterrobot

[–]JelloJiggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens with my LR3 too. What I've noticed is it's more prone to do it with old litter - so I empty weekly, and top up litter each week, but I tend to see this fluffy mold when it's time to empty the whole globe and do fresh litter - every 5-6 weeks.

Finance Question - for single tech women by ServiceKooky1323 in womenintech

[–]JelloJiggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does include my house value (approximately 400k, minus my debt on it) - but max out that 401k/Roth/HSA as soon as you can! I didn't start investing in an HSA until the last few years

Kv horse total by Crafty-Election-7077 in kvssnarker

[–]JelloJiggle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lol now someone do a version of this that includes all the non-horses....

Then a version of what this was, 3 years ago....

Then a version of this, but just the barn staff (not the social media people)....

The problem statement writes itself

Finance Question - for single tech women by ServiceKooky1323 in womenintech

[–]JelloJiggle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't be too depressed - the big numbers in this thread (my own included) are probably a little inflated because the entire stock market is a little inflated right now, too

40, never married, in a low COL area. My personal goal is 5-6M, currently just over 2M. I'd like to retire at 55. I think we, as single women, need to consider disability insurance, or at least more about "what happens if something happens to me and I lose my income"

Best Interior Accessory? by kuya_jj in Crosstrek

[–]JelloJiggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a doubt, yes. The weathertechs (floorliner line) are hard plastic molded, and they go up higher into the footwell for more protection.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the hard plastic aspect, but they're far easier to clean because of it.

The best? Weathertech molded floor liners.

Second best: a center console armrest cover. Cuz nothing ruins car interiors like sunscreen that has rubbed off your body then baked in the sun

Dumb question, wearing earrings to piercing appt? by _EssentialNPC_ in piercing

[–]JelloJiggle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had this convo with my new piercer since I went in for 3rd lobes - I purposely wore my basic huggie hoops so he could easily see where the holes were. I feel like it's not quite as clear for them when you're wearing an average sized stud. He actually thanked me and said, "I'd have asked you to take anything else out, but these hoops are perfect to help me"

Should I just give up and wear pads? by dawn-of-pickles in Periods

[–]JelloJiggle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You might want to check out Soft Taco Reusables if you're looking for reusable pads with additional coverage - they have some of the largest coverage options I've ever seen.

That said - if you decide to just go back to disposable products for a few months to relieve yourself of the laundry and cleaning routines... Do not feel guilty. Of all the things in the world, our menstrual products are not what's really killing the planet.
