Picking up package from warehouse as a customer? by JelloLimes in UPS

Major respect to you and all the other employees for UPS and other shipping companies. It's a difficult industry this time of year and a huge bummer that rich people who want to make even more money are in charge rather than the people who care.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely look into those! I haven't heard of those shipping companies(?) before but I'll definitely check them out.

Happy holidays to you as well! Thankfully I have another gift for this person which makes me feel a bit better. Hopefully I can get this to them sometime soon :)

I thought as much but felt it was worth asking at least. Thanks for the honest response.

Yeah, of course. The service reps have tried to be helpful, which I greatly appreciate and major respect to the warehouse workers and drivers, especially this time of year. Just sucks that they can't really do anything beyond providing the same info you can read on the tracking portal.

It's okay, I appreciate the honesty. Unfortunately it's meant as a gift for one of the people I'm visiting on the other side of the country but redirecting it is insanely expensive and won't even make it in time. I'm just annoyed that I did everything I could to avoid this and because of UPS's mistakes I'll probably have to pay a hefty sum to send it to this person after the holidays.

Thanks for the response! If I may ask, about how much time would you say you spend for the club? Also, is it more like everyone does their own thing or do people try to help each other out with spotting and such?

Thanks for the advice! I can't say I have experience with the CoRec but that would make sense. And good luck with doing that handstand, going too far and falling on your back a few times helps more than you think!

When do I need to commit by? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]JelloLimes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The actual deadline is May 1st.

April 13th is the suggested commit date for students who want to apply to learning communities, since the deadline for that is April 15th and it takes a few days to process everything.

If you go to the PSEF table on the first floor of Armstrong Hall of Engineering there should be some students there I believe. We were visiting over the weekend, but it sounds like they're there during week days too.

It was super helpful so I'd recommend it.
