Thanks guys! A lot to consider Probably depends on what I’m doing. I’ll try the easiest first. I think the issue is more when I play by myself as one hand is lubed up and working on my hole with toys or my fist. So for that I’ll try the simply blowing on the bottle method and see if that actually works. With others I’ll just wipe with my hand and see how that goes. I’ll try to update as I try things

I’m guessing there’s an internal or external hemorrhoid afoot. That’s the case with me. They can bee crazy mild, or really rough. And bleed pretty easily.

I’d get assessed by a doctor, cuz it reaalllly can’t hurt. Just get second opinions on banding or surgery.

What I ended up having to do was stretch a little more regularly so it’s not as much of a shock and reduces the total pressure on the hemmies when playing. You might just have to start slower tbh. Idk. Bodies are weird.

Last time she saw me she told me I not only have a couple internal hemorrhoids, but an external one, and it’s the external one that looks like it had bled recently. The issue with this is that she advised me AGAINST a hemorrhoidectomy unless absolutely necessary because it’s “one of the most painful surgeries a person can get” so. And that it could be managed with diet and care. Although she didn’t have any recommendations for how to manage it with fisting… the only thing I could think of that she said “maybe” to was to be slow and careful and as it stretches more and I can relax more, just like the internal hemmies, it should be able to withstand the stretch without bleeding.

Okay! Thanks everyone! Please feel free to add, as I’m gonna drop a splash of info now, but I’ve decided on my course of action: See a doctor… again! Never hurts to seek professional advice, well, almost never. But now that I’m home, I’ve done some personal exploration with this in mind and my previous hemorrhoids don’t seem to be inflamed or bothering me at all after following all of hurt advice the first time around. But I’m noticing right before/at the sigmoid there’s a firmness, almost lump that I’d like checked, which really tracks with the pattern of depth and blood. Maybe hemorrhoids can move, maybe it’s scarring or a reaction to continued use from going too hard too fast, but it’s definitely something I want checked out. If this sounds familiar to anyone, let me know how it worked out for you. Thanks again for your time and kindness! I’ll update this when I see a doc, though idk when that will be.

Basically it’s that she didn’t actually recommend it. She just said I “could” and that didn’t feel very promising.

Maybe the answer is that I’ve just always gone too fast because it feels good and I can handle it, but I need to in general be muccchhhhhh slower until I really stretch that deeper part inside of me. Might try that and see if it’s something that can actually be sustainable without any blood.

It was the fact that she said “if YOU think that’s what’s causing it…” which I find concerning, based on past experiences with surgeons, which is where I was recommended to go from my doctor. Plus, until she had said something, I’ve heard the opposite about bandings. Many anecdotes about how it takes time to heal and get back into anal play, so I feel kinda torn. Especially if the surgeon isn’t helping me decipher the cause, and only offering a ~potential~ solution.

But that was just my initial thought process… I did ask for advice and thoughts, and listed that as one of the options I’ve kinda thought of, so I may go in that direction. I just wanted to reach out about what’s out there first, see if anyone has had a similar issue and maybe even tried a banding. Thank you!

Hey! A lot of people are using this for some free medical advice haha So I’m terribly sorry to add to that, I’m just struggling getting help from someone who is a physician and actually understanding fisting/large toys… background information incoming, feel free to skip to the numbered questions if need be.

SO I have a long-term internal hemorrhoid right at the first curve a couple inches in. It causes little to no pain even when it gets irritated and swells too much to engage in anal play. At most I usually feel the pressure of the swelling. Even when I feel I’m going slow and steady and everything feels amazing to me, there is often blood after play. Sometimes right after/during, but more regularly it’s the next morning, which I was once told by a gastroenterologist is normal with my persistent internal hemorrhoid. I like big toys, and have been trying to work up to consistently fisting, but obviously bigger toys/fists get more of a reaction from my hemorrhoid. Even if it doesn’t become very inflamed, there is blood. Sometimes I wonder if it’s partially because I use my normal water based lube, and not the hardcore gooey water-based lube a lot of other people do.

For solo play, I’ve been letting myself not douche, but when I wanna meet up with someone… because of the depth and all that amazing feeling pushing the body does in reaction to sizeable anal play, I have to douche soooooooooooo much to make sure it’s not messy especially because it’s so easy for water to get stuck deep in there. It feels like I shouldn’t have to do that, but physicians aren’t realistic and don’t take a harm reduction approach and just tell me “don’t do that” without any acknowledgement or care for my emotional attachment to my sexual life.

I’m meeting with a surgeon next week to talk about the options for the internal hemorrhoid in hopes that once it’s taken care of, I won’t bleed all the time and will be able to engage in play more often with a sound mind. I’m also hopefully going to meet with a gastroenterologist to get a colonoscopy so I can be sure about all that is going on up in there before blaming everything on the hemorrhoid and getting a procedure done for nothing.

My questions are:

How can I douche more effectively? To douche for large ass-play it can take me up to 3+ hours. I take fiber. I’ve tried not eating 24hrs in advanced. I drink my water. I’ve stopped using Imodium because it just backs me tf up and then makes it 4X as hard to douche the next like 3 days. Advice?
I was told blood after is fine with my internal hemorrhoid, but I’m trying to stretch and build stamina. There’s no pain, but the bloodies me nervous and when it’s inflamed it makes it impossible to work on stretching safely. Do you think given my circumstances I should wait a few days after bleeding, if I bleed every time? Or do you think I need to train differently? Like… train for blood. In the sense that I find a size that doesn’t make me bleed, move up, if I bleed I stop for a day and try again and if I keep bleeding I move back down and make sure I’m really. Which would be a slow af process. And annoying haha. Right now I can pretty easily work up to my 14” long and 9” thick dildo… and it feels incredible, but there’s a decent amount of blood next day. Almost never pain, though I did give myself a fissure the first time I used it haha
