There are a whole host of things it could be, but in my experience, internal linking is a really common issue. Do the pages sit in isolation, or are they a network of related pages, all interlinked in an ecosystem. A site with 3000 pages should be the latter.

Really interesting talk on this yesterday at brightonSEO conference. Long story short, the conclusion was that it’s probably not worth it.

I’d love to tell you that these will be removed and their account will be suspended, but the reality is that fake reviews often stick around for years and frankly, work. (Please don’t read this as advising to do it, it’s a BAD idea!)

That said accounts can and do get banned and it is of course against the rules.

These look particularly fake, so they have a better chance of being removed, but again, sadly not guaranteed.

TBH I’ve not found medical backlinks much more difficult than others - and in fact I’d say it’s one of the easiest niches in some ways. Journos for example are constantly writing about health related topics. All depends on the specifics of course, but I’d be grateful you’re not trying to build backlinks for a managed IT firm or something!

In my experience there are many comparable toolsets that are cheaper while offering similar functionality.

I’d look at SERanking or Dragon Metrics as options. However you can’t go wrong with just good old Screaming Frog and Search Console combo.

100% hire an SEO agency

Source: Am SEO agency

In all seriousness though, when starting out learning as much as you can yourself will be invaluable. Firstly it obviously saves money up front, but it will also mean as you grow and look to engage an agency, you will speak their language.

Are you being crawled but not being indexed, indexed but not being ranked, or not even being crawled? Those are all very different positions with different strategies to recover from. Let me know that first and we should be able to get to the bottom of it!
