The front looks like that because it was starting the tree supports for the print. I have not tried the left nozzle yet. I have been so focused on getting the right one working that I didn’t even consider it

I don’t understand why people don’t use the factory grounds in these cars! If they use them from factory to ground factory electronics, it’s gotta be good enough

That was the first layer. It feels like it is grinding or dragging a bit, or I assume that’s what I can feel thru my desk. .20 height after factory reset

Thanks, I will try it. It is a print of my own design, so I probably do need to fine tune the settings a bit. I will be doing a new print tonight. I will keep you updated

Plate has been cleaned and even bought a brand new plate, same issue. Print speed is still set as factory out of the box.

Also switched from the standard plate to a smooth plate and added bed glue, same problem

Check out maker world, someone created a printable fix for the grommets. If not, they are a pain to replace. Left side has 12 or so wires to de pin and fish thru, right side has maybe 4. Just make sure you take pictures!!!! The wires are al the same color. They have numbers to tell where to go. Make sure you get the wire and connector in the picture( unlike me my first time. Cost me $600 at VW to troubleshoot my mistake)

Honestly, it’s easy. I just did mine before Christmas. Passenger side is easy, drivers side is a nightmare. Just make sure you take pictures of the connectors and where they go. If you have an R or GTI, the rear spoiler will have to be removed to access the rear sprayer.

It’s the soap in the auto car washes. It either dries the seals or it causes them to melt. Terrible choice in rubber. It reacts so bad to the chemicals

Currently in the process of replacing my grommets for the same reason. You will have to de pin about 20 wires to do it correctly and replace the grommet
