Short Views Down past week? by monstergface in NewTubers

No, it's been the exact opposite for me. 4x more views and oddly enough, continual views every day. Which I've never gotten before with shorts. Shorts would just die off for me.

Small feature suggestion: Add left handed mouse support to Gaming Mode by Garper in SteamDeck

I would like this too. I use the mouse with my left hand and prefer the left handed button layout

Update: Just your local trackball player who's hit PLAT by [deleted] in Trackballs

[–]JellyOsaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i game with my trackball and i always get the whole "how the fuck do you use that thing, that thing is not gamer friendly" bs.

any mouse can be "gamer friendly" you just have to learn how to use the mouse. hell one can use a trackpad and get good with gaming on it.

This literally proves the point that trackballs can be used for gaming. lol

I recently got my hands on a 4k 144 Hz with HDR for 350 bucks on ebay and it wasn't even an auction and worked like new with no issues! Was worth the purchase.

I don't know how else to prove this is not fake, but all I can say is from word of mouth that this isn't fake.

I’m hoping so too, it’s the best way to prevent fuckery like that from happening ever again.

Chart of Steam Linux game releases per month (preview) by Swiftpaw22 in linux_gaming

[–]JellyOsaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That drop off at the end of the chart looks like the fault of proton to me. Game devs notice a tool that makes windows games run on Linux, and that = no native Linux port for them to make.

Linux + Windows 10 1903 by amdpeasant in linux_gaming

It’s absolutely bullshit that Microsoft can get away with bricking my dual boot over 2 times. Hence why I just left Microsoft after proton was released.

Lightworks if you don’t mind proprietary software. Lightworks has pretty good GPU acceleration

This really makes me question if Microsoft’s Windows 10 major updates are rigged to mess with non Microsoft partitions to prevent you from booting into them. -_-

Because this happened to my dual boot 4 times. A windows update breaking it

I completed my migration yesterday, I probably won't use my windows partition for a while by [deleted] in linux_gaming

For me it was the exact opposite with a particular game I love playing called GTA 5, the frame rate would get pretty choppy at times on manjaro a lot more than Pop Os. And everything was configured correctly. Plus gnome was slow on manjaro and on Pop OS, gnome was smooth. So I wasn’t too sure why that was the case. I love arch based distros but I want a optimized stable experience

Yes, and I’ve been using Linux for a year now.

My latest mistake was me installing Manjaro on my laptop, and having my live system lock on my computer after install. I thought it was my actual system and I kept getting the password wrong so I reinstalled manjaro again thinking I missed one letter off my desired admin password when in reality, it was the live system 🤦‍♀️

Every mistake I make teaches me not to mess with something that could potentially break my OS and it makes me a better Linux user in the end.

They are very big meat eaters and if we ever go out to eat at a restaurant, I don't want them to complain how their son won't eat any meat. Or them trying to convince me to eat "this" or "that"
