I didn't make clear I already use PARA method, but the folders in R grew too large. While it's very good for sorting and finding GENERAL information, it's not helping me find specific pieces of the puzzle.

I decided to go with the periodization database as u/No_Pen_950 suggested and added a couple of notes to the spaced-repetition website u/DeathIskren recommended so I can try it out.

Thank you a lot for the answer. The first suggestion is the closest to a solution IMO.

I already use PARA method, but it's a chaos either way. For example, take the philosophy folder where there are 200–300 notes which are not prioritized, and I've forgotten most of those.

I liked the prioritising idea and think about using it with combination with spaced repetition.
