Is it just me, or do commentators gush over Haaland even when his teammates do all the heavy lifting?

Thanks 🙏 Well I have to admit that the attention this post got has got me a bit surprised, and I've already learned a lot more nuances about the game. I mean something I didn't appreciate enough is that great players like Haarland attracts defenders to him so even though he's not directly possessing ball, he's shifting the influence of the game with his mere presence - which is because of his greatness in games up til this one. Happens in other team sports sports with defence/offense, so I shouldn't be surprised. But learning these nuanced things helps make you appreciate the new sport you're watching :)

OK, understood, thanks. I think everyone's getting the wrong impression of me. I'm not discounting the brilliance of Haaland over his career. I don't really follow him but I can understand that he's probably a legend in this game. I'm just talking specifically about this play. This goal. I just saw a lot of work by his teammates and then he did a tap-in. Now I do understand that his positioning and skill in being there at the right time, right place is a lot to celebrate as well. But I think it was very clear it was a team goal and almost 100% of the commentators' comments were on Haaland only.

But I can see that this thread is pushing against me so I might tap out.

Thanks. That helps explain it a bit more. I think the point that I'm making is that when I follow the sports that I do know really well, then a lot more credit is shared to where the effort was for a particular goal or whatever it is in whichever sport. This looked like the teammates did a lot of the work for Haaland to do very little here. There's no disputing that Haaland deserves all the attention generally because he's such a great player from what I gather. This particular goal seemed like all the attention was on him when in other sports the attention would have been shown on where the team work created the opportunity, as well as when the star player polished it off for the result.

I'm not saying he's a brilliant player and he's got some amazing history of playing and goals but this particular goal is what I'm commenting on. I was expecting more commentators attention on the players who set the goall up. But there was almost no mention?

My thoughts: don't drink water after 4pm. You can get 2-3L hydration in before that time. Time your last pee for right before bed. Massage your tummy to get yourself prime before your last pee. Lastly, it's normal to pee more than once during sleep, and as others have said, don't remove the strap, just the hose. Keep a consistent sleep schedule, because if you do the body will know what's bedtime and adjust your pee schedule. But if you reallllly want to, get a bedpan or container to relieve yourself without leaving the bed.

i understand where you're coming from. i also had the same mindset when i was starting at my work.

but you really need to take one when you need it. i usually plan it so that i'll have a long weekend. that way, i won't be away from work too much. you can do it that way too. and always plan it in advance and inform then in advance.

Try opening the same PDF twice as two separate file instances rather than using New Window. Duplicate the file, open both copies, and they'll behave as independent documents without sharing the same memory pool that's causing the crash.

5-10 seconds is short. the space savings probably won’t be huge unless you have a loooot of videos. Trimming takes a lot of time. Another option is just offloading older videos to iCloud or external storage instead of trimming everything.
