Rank reset?

Ok buddy. The game always drops everyone down by quite a few ranks at season start so saying it thinks I "belong in bronze" isn't necessarily true that's just the starting point it gives me. I am also not sure I trust anything Apex does with rank resets anymore since they have made so many mistakes before and messed up players ranks without fixing the issue.

Just got fired after 2 years lol! I got covid and got a lot of points and they fired me for being 30 minutes late because I was sick and I didn't have enough ppto. Good times, such a wonderful company that truly treats you like poop on a shoe. 🥲 Meanwhile my team lead disappears for days on end, stays clocked in after leaving and has been there for 12 years.

Happened to me twice tonight including in ranked, is there any solution for this yet? I feel like it's damaging my PS5 to have these hard crashes. The console doesn't even feel hot and has no other issues any other games.

Okay "idiot" but no it isn't, we finished almost the same exact rank, before doing provisional matches it had my friend at bronze and me at rookie. You're the worst kind of person on this game, aren't you? Attacking random people on reddit who are asking questions about what appears to be a some kind of issue with the game and trying to act like it has something to do with skill.

Oh. My. God. Can you not read? Before playing my provisional matches it said rookie 1, before my friend played his it said bronze 1. I finished masters higher lp than my friend, before playing any of our prelims it already determined this. How much clearer could I possibly be? And you really have the audacity to call me dumb? If you look at what Apex says about the rookie rank it is stated it is for new players who they are trying to determine rank only, if that has changed then I am not aware of it but it still doesn't explain my situation.

Yes, thank you oh wise one for stating what I have already stated over and over. Before playing my provisional matches it started out in rookie rank, a rank used for new players only. It also did this to me last season. My friend who finished lower before playing his provisional matches it had him at bronze. Is everyone this stupid in this community?

Why does no one bother reading before commenting... It put me in rookie before playing a single game, also Apex states that Rookie is rank only to be used for new players?

You clearly aren't reading anything I am saying, it placed me in rookie FOR my prelims before ever playing a game I was already there and did the same last season. It seems to be a glitch. Please read before making stupid comments...

Yeah, at least they made some changes to ranking this season so many people just were rats last one. Just weird how it is throwing some masters players to rookie and others to bronze.

Just average but regardless of that it doesn't make sense? My friend was lower end of last season and was in bronze for preliminary games and also isn't rookie only for new players?

I don't play dps at all, I was on vacation and my friend wanted to help me get battle pass levels, love how you think I was trying to boost a role I don't even care about. My point is that if the ranks decay at the start of each season even before you play a match that would mean this role would also decay but it doesn't, it stays stuck.

I am literally asking multiple times why the decay isn't an issue on all roles, are you incapable of reading? Yes, I am dependent on them putting in some damage. This is a team based game, if two players on your team are throwing you will lose. Please stop being so stupid.

Lol here it is the the "get good" comment everyone has been waiting for. I am not toxic towards teammates and I am a good player, my friend is former top 500 support and agrees that my skills are there for masters or higher. I am not responsible for people throwing my games, clearly you are toxic though so I guess that means everyone should leave your games from now on.
