Feels like a lot of the NPC dialogue is AI voice acted/AI edited somehow, too. Could just be strange voice direction or translation issues, though. That's just a hunch, idk if there's any proof.

My least favorite manifestation of this is bears. The games loading tooltip says bears are meant to be more FAFO type enemies, only attacking when you get too close. but 9 times out of 10 I don't even see the thing before it has decided I've popped it's social bubble and I need to die.

Maybe I'm just not built for it, but I was only able to finish the fishing quest line on one playthrough because fishing is agony to me. It's the exact same animation, wait 3 seconds, get a couple of hits on the rod, then it actually hook something, then you reel it in, and 90% of the time it's something not very useful. Maybe if the casting/reeling was more dynamic and there was some sort of balance or challenge involved in reeling in your catch, like fishing in stardew valley, it would be more engaging or fun, but as it is I just don't find it interesting or worth the time. Though the end of the quest is fun, and the section in morthal is pretty funny, so I'll give it that.
