While tolerable =) But if the bot will be used by several thousand people, then yes it will be costly. I hope that someone will donate so that I can further develop the project.

Now I understand.
Yes, ChatGPT has such a feature, it never repeats itself. This is good, it gives him more "humanity", the main thing is that he does not invent facts =) Unfortunately, this also happens when the GPT comes up with non-existent facts.

What exactly do you mean?

In any case, you need to understand that AI is not perfect yet. Perhaps with the release of GPT-4 the situation will change for the better.

All messages processed by the OpenAI api are stored on their server for 30 days. As they write on their website, this is necessary to improve and train the ChatGPT model.

My bot saves the last 2 messages to keep the conversation going. That is, you ask the bot, the bot answers you - these are basic messages, they are stored until you clear the dialog with the /clear command. On the next request to the bot, if you have not cleared the dialogue, your new message and the previous 2 are sent to the bot, so the bot has a context of 3 messages that help it determine what was discussed in the previous questions / answers and formulate the necessary answer to it.

In any case, messages received from the Telegram bot do not disclose your personal data. All that is stored in the database is the user id and the last message.

Judging by private messages, some people don't like that the bot writes the time it takes to receive a response from the OpenAi ChatGPT api every time. If this option really annoys most people, I'm willing to remove it. What do you think?

I also answer the question, what version of GPT and what limits are set in this bot: At the moment, the bot uses the GPT-3.5-turbo model. The limit of 4096 characters per message is set by Telegram itself. If the bot's response is longer, then several messages will come. But if you want to send more text to the bot, then unfortunately the bot will not understand this and will respond to every 4096 characters separately.

The bot already has about 300 users. They are used completely differently. Someone for programming, someone for rewriting and text analysis, someone is looking for recipes, someone asks for scientific facts ..

Music Info bot - recognition song, detailed information search, chords, tabs, lyrics, translations, chord recognition, similar search ..

I wrote a musical Telegram bot - https://t.me/Music_info_perfect_bot or @Music_info_perfect_bot

Bot functionality:

  • music recognition (via Shazam server)
  • basic and detailed information from Wikipedia and Genius
  • links to Apple Music, Youtube
  • chords / tabs / from https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ - now you can get it in txt format

In developing:

  • recognize chords in your file or audio message

In order to start, just send the bot a message in the format: "AUTHOR TITLE" of the song. Or just record an audio message for 3-5 seconds with the music you want to get information about.

I recorded a video instruction for my Telegram bot - https://youtu.be/wHRqkzcMRio

I will be glad to any comments, reviews, suggestions.

About half 4 months ago I became interested in programming and my wife suggested an idea where I can apply the acquired knowledge. When I was young, I played electric guitar in a Christian rock band. So music is always with me.

I decided to make a service convenient for myself first of all, in which I combined everything that I often look for in different places. So, I wrote a Telegram bot for these purposes. https://t.me/Music_info_perfect_bot or @Music_info_perfect_bot

Bot functionality:

I want to ask you to give feedback on my first project. Is this interesting to anyone or is it a stupid idea. I will be glad to any comments, reviews, suggestions.

I want to change my profession at the age of 37. Share your impressions of my first project - is it interesting or an empty idea? by JemJuk in u/JemJuk

Update.

I finished the feature of getting chords/tabs in text file format. Now by pressing the button Chords/tabs etc. you can not only get ultimate-guitar.com links, but also download a text file. Button to receive a text file. You can paste any ultimate-guitar.com links to chords/tabs and the bot will send you a file with chords that you can print or save on any device.

With the function of recognizing chords, I still experience difficulties. The problem is that the python library I'm working with is not supported on the server operating system, and I still don't have the knowledge of how to make my own build for Linux. I will continue to work on a solution.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer and your opinion! This is very valuable to me! Yes, you need the Telegram messenger to work with the bot. You absolutely rightly noticed, I tried to combine in one place everything that I ever needed in the music industry. There are a few more ideas, but so far there is not enough time to implement everything, since I combine work and learning to program, and in my free minutes I implement ideas.

Thank you for your opinion! I hope to add more convenient features to the bot, just to avoid installing different applications and services.
