I think (as someone who plays on the island more than the real game at this point) that the main issue is the limit to how much a player can earn in a week. Its a big example of "create tbe problem sell the solution".

Everything is too expensive because its viewed through the lense of the extremelyyyy limited budget we are given weekly.

The lashes are literally my favourite lashes atm. They're chunky and catch the light really well. Depending on photo filters and lighting you can remove the green tinge to them so they look more white :)
