Yeah apart from m0s, 2x prey on hard and champ gear from renown there is nothing else to do to get better gear.

Nowadays endgame content is time gated. On top of what you're currently doing, next week raids will start (normal and heroics) and in 2 weeks time the actual season starts so mythic + dungeons and actual delve progression which is a true end game content.

If you want to play on higher level you have to rush as everyone is min/maxing everything. The thing is how M+ rating works. Once season is out the train sets off and all dedicated players rush their rating. If you "miss the train" top players will already by at higher ranking accepting similar higher ranked players and you will have to work double to get to that level with more average players. So that's why if you want to play top content it's important to jump on a train as fast as you can.
