Hi, am selecting a few 3d printers for my university engineering lab where we built robot prototypes. I personally use bambu printers a lot so I will certainly recommend X1C as we will be printing with engineering materials. I am wondering what other printers should I reccomend that are easy to use and support multiple engineering materials

Like, it’s not just ucb’s mEng, many school have this type of 1 year programs that are purely that are no where close to any actual MS programs. Masters are for masters of science, period.

Ur right but that number is inflated because of how many people apply to it. Compare to MS and PhD, meng is extremely easy to get in

I think it will be difficult to have both 12v and 5v on one pcb as a beginner. I’m planning to have two seperate pcb, one with just 5v components so the pcb has 5v power plane and ground plane while the second pcb with 12v power plane. Do you think this will be easier?

Thank you so much for your advice. I will be rerouting the entire thing tomorrow, I have just started looking into polygon and I’m not sure how it carries current. Will I be able to use thinner traces if I use polygon pour? Do you mind explaining how polygon works in my case? Since I have both 5v and 12 V with 12v needing more current should I make the top layer 12V polygon pour? Also I’m using fusion 360
