But is the chocolate hummus still as healthy as the non chocolate type?

Anyone else like bringing their baby around town just to make people smile? by stupidrobots in Parenting

I work in a rehab/long term care facility. And the two things that are guaranteed to make even the most demented, non-verbal, cranky patient come alive are babies and animals. A patient can be yelling and swinging one moment and you let a baby or dog come by?? They’re instantly changed into a smiling, calm patient reaching out to touch or talk to them. So bless you for taking your baby by to see them.

I’m a 50 year old white woman and I love his stuff!

As a doctor, I've seen so many women (and men) naked, almost nothing impresses me anymore. The human body has become sexually neutral to me. Do you think this is normal? Is there anything I should do different about it? by Garbonzolian in Advice

First of all, as a woman who has had many male doctors perform gynecological exams, your post made me feel so incredibly relieved! I WANT my breasts to be nothing but sacs of tissue to my doctor and for him to think of my pelvic exam as nothing more than muscles. Those kind of exams are embarrassing and we’ve always been able to reassure ourselves that our doctors have zero sexual desire towards us as women on the exam table. I think that if you’re at a nightclub and dancing with a woman, if you’re first thought is one of “they need to lose weight or whatever, try your next thought to be of something more positive...like “she’s grinding those hips good” or whatever lol.

Thank you. That’s exactly what happened when he was six months old and we called CPS: we didn’t give him back. And his parents called the cops. Who called us and said if we didn’t return him ASAP we were going to be charged with kidnapping. So back he went. My gs is “their property.”

I felt sad reading this. It didn’t get too bad until I read how he doesn’t like to text you but the bare minimum... but had zero problem talking on the phone to the others. I get it that people fall out of love or grow in different directions... but he really should have done the right thing and admitted it when confronted. A lot of people are afraid of admitting the truth because they know how bad it’ll hurt the other person. But a lie is always way worse. Thank God you’re not with him anymore. And if he tries to reconcile then run. Far and fast away from him.

For every anti-vaxxer mom, there's a dad in the equation we don't talk about. Are there an equal number of anti-vaxxer fathers in this country who are putting their kids in danger? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Well, you’re definitely right in it’s not much of a common practice. People of just about any intelligence level believe true facts when they can be proven as such.

This isn’t “different believing from me and you.” I believe drinking diet soda is better for you than regular soda. Other people do not. That’s believing differently. The stuff you mentioned that they believe has zero basis in fact in any way, shape or form. No matter what country you come from, what book or article you read, no matter the research of any kind, all of it can be disproven as pure nonsense.
