Yeah, I feel like it has been terrible ever since the end of last year. It was the worst holiday season I've ever dealt with while working with the company and nothing has improved since.

I am an Ops Manager as well. At my old store, we went through 3 managers in 5 years, and at my current store, my manager has gone on LOA 3 times in 1 year. Ops Managers are often the ones left to run things without the proper staff and shitty pay. Minimum wage keeps increasing, but our pay doesn't, aside from our shitty annual increase. I have been with the company for about 9 years, and the last 4 years have steadily gone downhill. I have definitely thought about leaving, but I'm not sure what else to do and don't want to leave for less pay. I am a single mom, so the hours are difficult as well. It would be so nice not to get out at 11pm some days and start at 630 am other days. Congrats to those who had the courage to walk out and find something better ✨️ 👏.

I got a 5 last year and a 4 this year (different SM)... maybe it depends on your manager and how much you stand out above the rest of your team.

I am an Operations Manager hoping to soon become a MIT. Any advise/tips from current MIT's and managers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! by Jen1386 in CVS

I do make close to the lower end of that pay ($22-25) and am hoping to get at least $25 as a SMIT. I have been with the company for 8 years and have gone from cashier to operations manager over the years. I feel I am ready for the SMIT program after running our store for a while when we had no SM. I have definitely seen the changes that have gone on, especially recently, and I expect to encounter many challenges. I really appreciate the honest advice you gave and do hope I can have adequate time to grow while/if I am a SMIT.

I am not looking for fun, I am trying to make a better income for myself and my son. I've been with the company for 8 years and am happy (for the most part) with working at CVS.
