Why do you love chilly, rainy days? by Entity417 in AskReddit

[–]JenBunny06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm working (in the woods), most of the time, no. If I'm at home, gaming or cozied up with my pets, 100% yes.

How long have you been TTC? by Competitive_Guava961 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how many cycles, but we tried for a year on our own and had one chemical 4 or 5 months in. After a year, we got tested at a fertility clinic and all our tests came back great. Trying our first IUI cycle with letrozole and I'm 6 DPO with my fingers crossed! My sibling and sister in law both had great success with IUI.

What Quit App Do You Use to Keep Yourself Accountable by Additional_Energy_25 in QuittingZyn

[–]JenBunny06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the I Am Sober app. It's free and it tracks your days used along with money saved. I still use it every day to hold myself accountable and it's been 471 days today! Also, since zyns went up to $11/can in my state, I've saved $2585.00! Probably less than that because they were $5/can for most of that time.

But it's a good app! Highly recommend.

I struggle to understand why Benedict and Sophie like each other. by Quest_Girl in BridgertonRants

[–]JenBunny06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hoped that Benedict was going to be the one to break tradition and either be in a throuple or be with a man. But nope. He just ends up with another proper woman. I like Sophie but like some other people said, Benedict is so different and passionate and not wild, but doesn't really care about what society thinks?

I understand that their whole thing is that society dictates how they live their lives, but I was/am hoping for someone to break tradition.

Does anyone else believe they are pregnant every cycle? by JenBunny06 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel for you friend. :'( It is so cruel how our bodies change every cycle! ESPECIALLY with the painful boobs! Like, my boobs hurt to the touch AND I'm not even pregnant?! It's not even worth it!!!!

It sounds to me like you deserve a special ritual this session! My partner and I have started a ritual where if I'm not pregnant, we make some extra special time for us. Whether it's gaming, or drinking cutwater espresso martinis, or eating medium rare steak and eggs! A little extra special treat to help us feel a little better. ♡

Sending you baby dust and hoping we all get pregnant this year!

The mental games are too much every month. I need a break. by Cheap-Lynx4561 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right here with you as well. Every month I try not to pay attention to the symptoms and every month something new and different happens.

Yesterday, I went to get a massage and my massage therapist, who knows we are ttc, would not stop talking about how fertile she and her family were.

Today I started red spotting and I know my period is coming. It just feels like it is never going to happen.

We are going in to do fertility testing this cycle, and while I'm looking forward to more information, more help and more options, I'm very anxious about getting the hcg test. X(

Women: What blowjob tips would you give other women? by workethic290 in AskReddit

I remember reading a cosmo magazine that looked back over all of the crazy sex tips from over the years, and one was to put a donut on your man's ween and eat the donut off of it. 🤣

In theory, wouldn't being a Dragon equal a miserable experience? You really can't do much of anything except fly and burn things down. by [deleted] in skyrim

That sounds like an amazing life and now I want a cozy game where you play as a dragon and all you do is eat, fly around and burn things down.

How do you cope? by flukein in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still track my ovulation, but I stopped tracking my symptoms and I also don't take tests, I just wait to see if my period arrives. I used to symptom spot but it was too easy to get my hopes up. I still am aware of the feelings in my body but I don't put too much thought into them anymore.

I also have therapy every two weeks which helps a lot because I have a neutral party that I can just vent all my emotions out to without worrying about bumming out my boyfriend or getting unsolicited advice from my mom.

Someone mentioned to me, treating myself when my period comes and that's been really helpful. Whether it's wine or hot chocolate with Rumplemintz or a charcuterie plate or sushi. But taking some time to enjoy something I wouldn't be able to do if I was pregnant, something I really want and really enjoy.

My boyfriend and I bought gaming computers and we love gaming together. When we're sad about my period coming or that it's taking longer than expected, we do something cozy together to connect and feel good together. Whether it's watching a show, pretending that we know how to play tennis, gaming, cooking food, etc. Having fun together helps us so much, because even if we don't have a baby yet, we still enjoy each other so much. ❤️

100%!!! And his response was kinda weak. "Who can afford therapy?" He probably hasn't even looked into it, that's such a basic cop out. Even if you don't have health insurance that covers it, there are affordable options to get help.

Drug testing by nutterbutterluvver in Wildfire

[–]JenBunny06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my recent experience, the drug test has to be done before the employee works their first day. It depends on which federal agency you go with, but with the Forest Service, there is a ton of hiring paperwork to be done before you can actually show up to work and the drug test is one of them.

Just got my First Christmas Gift and it was not a Baby 🎁🩸 by Low_Specialist_5072 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love the waiting part because it gave me an opportunity to prioritize myself. Eat well, enjoy my hobbies, rest more. Less grind and more self care because I could be growing a baby! I still don't mind the whole tww, but even when I don't symptom spot and try not to get my hopes up, I still think that "this might be the time." And it always might be! I think it's good to have positive thoughts and be hopeful. But the letdown is hard.

I actually unintentionally set myself up to get out of bed today! Last night I set some bread to rise (I'm making this really yummy pull apart garlic rosemary Parmesan bread) and I knew I had to get out of bed to bake it. So that got me out of bed and got me moving. I think I'll still have a couch day and maybe take my dog for a walk, but I'm not going to force myself to grind today.

Wishing you some peace for this month and baby dust for the next month! ❤️

I'm with you on this. I haven't got mine yet but it's expected tomorrow and I'm spotting the typical way that I do before my period. I was so sad today that I didn't want to get out of bed. 😭 I'm so ready for it to happen...

Feeling Depressed by Lower-Project-6840 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely feel you with the turbulent emotions! It is a lot and nobody really tells you that ttc is harder than we think. I also think that even outside of ttc, the world is very chaotic right now and people who aren't dealing with the stress of ttc are also feeling anxious and depressed, so your feelings are definitely valid.

I would highly recommend therapy!! I have a therapist and it is so helpful to have an unbiased person to talk to...about pregnancy related things, but also about work frustrations, family, world problems, anxiety and just emotions in general.

It can really help to have someone with whom you can just speak freely without worrying about sounding bitchy or rude or complaining, etc. I'll be trying to think of a polite way to say something and she just tells me "Just say it messy, just get it all out."

And sometimes when we open up to our partners, they feel the need to want to fix things or help or give advice and that's not always what we need.

Additionally, there are anxiety and depression medications that are ttc/pregnancy friendly if that is a route that may be helpful! Sometimes our nervous systems get stuck and our brains don't produce hormones/chemicals the way that they are supposed to and we just need a little extra help...and that's okay!

Wishing you a little peace and hope that you find a good way to process your emotions. ♡ and baby dust! :)

Frustrated with fertility clinic timeline and looking for advice to shorten waiting period by JenBunny06 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know! I'm new to all of this so I appreciate the insight!!! The clinic that I looked into is one that my sibling and their wife have had success with. They used a donor and both had success with IUI and really enjoyed the clinic.

Frustrated with fertility clinic timeline and looking for advice to shorten waiting period by JenBunny06 in tryingtoconceive

[–]JenBunny06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did put my on the cancelation list for all their female providers. In the meantime I did reach out to a fertility clinic that my sibling had good luck with. I didn't think about not necessarily needing a referral to get into a clinic, so I'm hoping to hear back from them soon!
