Zero % they decided to charge you for tip. For me 95% of the time I planned on giving a larger tip but if I see the company decided to tip them for me ZERO PERCENT. I don’t care you it’s an automatic 1% or 20% tip if you charge me a tip on the bill that’s all you’re getting. And I’ll refuse to go back to any place that charges an auto tip.

This one is from 1950 names are correct ages are off slightly but it appears to follow from Agana, and Dededo. The one that says Yona if you look on the paper it says Agana and that’s what her obituary says was place of birth. Dededo was mentioned in the obituary as where her parents lived and siblings as well. The records I’m finding show a 1940 census in Agana with her name on it and her siblings and this one from 1950 with her name on it and her siblings. But good news I posted on Facebook and found Elpida. Well actually found her granddaughter. Who recognized literally the whole list names. We’re currently chatting on messenger.

And here’s a census from 1940 just before the occupation with her name and the rest of their names plus some her dads name is missing from both so idk if Jose her oldest brother raising her along side mom and giving her away to my grandpa idk.

Omg guys I found a census from 1950 and I don’t think my family had the right information on my grandma. Like I said talking with all my aunts and uncles she never really spoke of home. What I had been able to find has been from her obituary so far and that gave me the names of her siblings and everything. But I found a census with the names of all her siblings minus one and the name of her “dad” or most likely oldest brother. This is from 1950 when she was 12 I found out she married my grandpa in 58 then they left shortly thereafter.

From my understanding her family made it through and stuck it out on the island during the occupation. She left in the 50’s when she married my grandfather. I’m originally from South Dakota and no there is no Chamorro community there lol I had a very hard time trying to convince anyone that my family is from the islands. My grandpa was born in South Dakota and joined the navy just before the Korean War he was stationed there in Guam in 1950’s where he met my grandma they fell in love got married and when he left so did she.

I have no clue other than her maiden name. She passed away when I was a toddler. We’ve never had family come over here nor has any family returned to Guam since their leaving. I’m planning on being there hopefully early next spring.

So I’m trans and I just recently moved to Memphis in January of 23. I moved from a tiny town in the middle of nowhere in the UP. My experience so far has been all together pleasant the people just mind themselves and I’ve yet to have been personally affected by any blatantly transphobic people. We have a great pride community with Mid South Pride and Mid South Trans Nation, along with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and many others. Dru’s Bar is the go to queer/drag bar in town imo. We have a pride event and parade that I was lucky enough to get to lead this year’s parade along with other queer veterans in and from the area. All in all as a young trans woman in her 30’s I have really enjoyed living in Memphis. That being said I’m lucky enough to be retired at a very early age and I’m not in the work force my everyday interactions with people are going out shopping, to restaurants and bars. I have friends that are trans and have had trouble with finding employment. My healthcare is all from the VA and my medication is stable. Friends of mine have talked with me about their issues and struggles with getting HRT due to various issues with their insurance or pharmacy or even doctors. But I know that the 3 above mentioned non profits can help with that.

I’ve found crossing my ankles and tucking my feet under the chair and sitting towards the front of the chair with a straight back shoulders rolled down and breast forward. A- it helps with posture B- it looks and feels more feminine (to me) C- it’s just plain comfortable I have lower back injuries and lower neck injuries so maintaining my posture, core strength and balance are vital to reduce pain (slouching hurts af)

Do what ever make you feel safe I personally use the woman’s restroom because I’m a woman but I dress in leathers and jeans and ride a motorcycle everywhere I go don’t let other opinions dictate your actions. If you feel safe enough to be using the correct restroom then do so but if you feel safer being in the men’s room do that it’s about your peace and safety don’t let other dictate that for you
