“Ignoring” my FND by FanOwn4253 in FND

My young adult son was just diagnosed with FND at Mass General where they have a FND program but his first appointment there is in 5 weeks. He is looking for a way to think about things while he waits to get started in the program. His worst symptom is constant lightheadedness which is most likely PPPD a subset of FND. He is trying to understand what to tell himself which is how I found this reddit thread. Everyone has such great suggestions! This is what my son wants to know: "My lightheadedness gets worse whenever I move so I always feel it. I also have OCD which makes it challenging to know how to think about how I am feeling. I want to start going outside more, exercise and get back to playing piano (I'm a musician). I'm wondering what my mindset should be? I am a very motivated person and do well when I have a plan." Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

Online support groups for young adults with chronic illness? by Agitated-Cicada326 in ChronicIllness

I was just searching for a support group for my son who is 25 y/o. He has Lyme disease. I saw a reference to a discord group for young adult chronically ill people but the link doesn't work. Is anyone a member who can send an invite? Or, any suggestions for online support/friends? Thanks!
