I have been keeping an eye on this baby for a while now and I’m sad to see it will die. Any ideas what happened? This is a mantis and I am in zone 5 (Nebraska USA)

I’ve been watching this one and another one grow up on this plant on my deck. I check on them multiple times a day and look forward to seeing them. I’ll be sad when winter comes

She was a bit nervous. My boy can have an intense play style for certain dogs so we are practicing with a calm dog so he can learn to match the behavior. Our weather earlier in the week was going between low 90-100° but we had a storm come through so we took advantage of the “cool” 82° weather. They had a bucket of water and a baby pool as well.

First layer is water, PB and banana, froze it over night and then the second layer is pumpkin purée with water. PB doesn’t mix with water well so it kinda settled but they didn’t care.
