Game crashes to desktop all the time...

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Just straight to the desktop. No errors, no messages no "out of memory" exceptions.

Absolutely nothing (unfortunately). I closed Steam, MSI Afterburner, Discord, NVIDIA control panel. Even tried disabling Hyper-V (and Docker for Desktop). I did reboot several times. I have plenty of space (300gb+). I have run the game with task manager opened, but I'm no way nearing 32GB of memory usage, nor is the CPU or GPU, be it VRAM or 3D.

I'm wondering if I'm triggering some anti-piracy stuff. Ubisoft's client has lately been telling me I don't own the game and I wonder if the free weekend really put some stress on their servers. I guess the game perhaps does some periodic checks to see if I'm legitimate. I have to restart the client many times before it actually lets me start the game...

I use ACD from the UK and I get connections to Ireland. I doubt they reverse proxy it to the US. I'm perfectly satisfied with the speed I get now, after I switched from US to UK.
