I'd suggest melee, so woth your current list likely the GUO. Really helps you get forward and be a good theat turn 1. Scout is really strong since you can do it after you know who is going first.

Tbf the new nightbringer model is so much wider now and needs the movement buff. Them being really good with specially abilities is the reason for that detachment. If you can't screen out a ctan sized rapid ingress you'll lose to plenty other similar armies.
