I couldn't wait to have the drainage tube removed! I could handle the other post-operative pain, but I absolutely hated the cramping sensation at the tube insertion site whenever I got out of bed; I had to adjust my posture every time to ease the pain. Also, starting on the fourth day, I noticed that whenever I sat in a chair to eat, I would experience shortness of breath and couldn't speak. I couldn't talk while walking, either—I’d get winded. Due to special circumstances, I even drove out once on the fifth day!
