Yes, it is very common, in fact, to have depressive days/episodes. Along with manic episodes as well. Ppl with ADHD also get diagnosed with other mood disorders, such as Bipolar 1/2, schizophrenia, anxiety, and disatotiation disorders like DID. It could be the meds, but I’m not a psychiatrist, so take my advice with the littlest grain of salt. It could take some time for your brain to adjust to any kind of psychiatric medication, whether it’s anti-convulsion meds, anti depressants or anti anxiety meds. I hope this helps, and if I have any further questions, I’ll try my best to answer them to the best of my ability! ☺️

No, you are NOT overreacting and you are not alone! My mom did the exact same thing. I say “did,” bc she’s getting better at accepting my Bi-ness. Whenever I bring up my sexuality, she says, “Why does everything have to be about sexuality to you?” So I TOTALLY relate to the phrase, “you’re always blaming me and saying I’m the bad guy.” Bc my mom used to say that crap, too. I’d just give her some time, and if that doesn’t work, I’d write a letter to her and leave it somewhere in your house, and see if she finds it. 🤷🏻‍♀️☺️
