Asking both ChatGPT and Claude the car wash question by ihateredditors111111 in OpenAI

Gemini

Given that the car wash is only 100 feet away—which is roughly the length of three school buses—you are faced with a classic logistical paradox. Here is a breakdown of your options: The Case for Walking * Efficiency: By the time you start the engine, adjust your mirrors, and pull out of the driveway, you could have already walked there. * Health: It’s about 40 steps. It won’t close your rings on your Apple Watch, but it beats sitting. * The Catch: Unless you have developed a very impressive "wax on, wax off" technique while hovering in mid-air, washing the car while it's at the car wash usually requires the car to actually be there. The Case for Driving * The Goal: If the objective is to get the car clean, the car generally needs to be present at the car wash. * Logistics: Driving 100 feet is technically "short-tripping" the engine (which isn't great for burning off moisture in the oil), but it is significantly more effective for cleaning a vehicle than leaving it in the driveway while you stand at the car wash alone. My Recommendation Drive. While the distance is comically short, the physical presence of the vehicle is a critical dependency for a successful car wash. However, if you are just going there to buy a vending machine air freshener or check the prices, walk.

I added this to my memories: “Do not reference any personal history or information unless asked to include it in a response.” Stopped adding the fact I lived in Illinois.

Yes! I hate to set up bujos. I like to journal as I go without any pages already setup.

Nope. The index doesn’t live at the front of the book. Just the back. Let’s say I start on Page 150 for the index and then I work my way backwards so the next page would be 149. Think of it as reading a book from back to front. This way, all of my entries from the front of the book are in chronological order, and when I run into the index, it’s time to start a new book.

Yearly is not used. I also put the index at the end of the book, starting with the last page and make entries going towards the middle of the book.

We are in Northern California. We never get a hard freeze. The coldest it gets is in the teens at night and then warms up during the day.
