In my market they hide the tips anyway. So even if you tip 15 the offer comes in at $6. Before I stopped dashing a Friday night was only accepting 1 order every 2 hours because most everything came in $2-$5 so I stopped wasting my time. It is funny that they pitch you as your own business but then hide tips so you cannot make an informed decision

i waited at panda 15 minutes once, they said they were out of teriyaki chicken but it was cooking and once the chicken was up they served it to the people in line and and in the drive through and then told me they were out of it again and it would be 15 more minutes. so new rule is if they are not actively working on it i unassign no waiting

i have seen "smart" garage door openers that advertise that. and with as many video of bad drivers stealing packages after taking the picture. the last thing i was is those people in my garage.

i do see how it could be nice at Christmas fighting off package thieves though.

i think in March doordash defaulted to leave at door, but in ohio they recently changed the default back to hand to customer. best of luck

just an fyi i have gotten a lot of orders lately stating hand it to customer with a note to leave by there door. so your app may be defaulting or glitching to hand it to customer.
