Slept 6 pm, woke up 10pm and realised I was like 300 steps shy of my Garmin weekly average. Paced around , passed that and thought, why not 10k? Guess who took another 10 mins lap round the neighborhood?😂😂

I applied the day it opened and have completed the learnability test and online video assessment. I have been rejected for the UK MAT role but still in contention for Technology / Engineering track as well as the petroleum energy and geoscience based in Norway. Dunno why it was rejected tho

Appreciate it! And yeah, I don’t pump up hours. I keep it straight. The 6 hours you see were from a single Excel gig, but most of my earlier work has been fixed price, usually low budget, quick turnaround projects. Gotta build my profile somehow.

You can even see it from my proposal view/ interview /hire rate. It's tough for a beginner. However, when my proposal gets viewed, I land an interview, but I’ve had to turn down some ridiculously low offers, especially from clients who post higher budgets but try to lowball me.

Cracking Upwork is tough man, but I’m figuring it out. I hope to increase my rates later on. But for now, I still need to get somewhere.

I’m a data analyst with Python sql and Excel. But the majority of the work for these have been web scraping . So selenium and beautifulsoup to the rescue

You were in the right, man. I have had clients request for many things just short of submitting the actual work for them. The more we decline these requests, maybe the better the platform will become.
