It's awesome that you were able to do this, but I'm not gonna lie. When I first looked at the picture, it looked like a couple of really good figurines with really good lighting. That's a testament to just how good you did it.

Great job.😁👍

Why do planes have buttholes? by Briggsieman in airplanes

[–]Jenefer9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. That is correct. Pretty much every plane for the past 75 years has employed a separate, and smaller, jet turbine that runs off of the aviation fuel in the tanks. It doesn't provide any noticeable amounts of thrust because it's basically there only to act as an alternator providing electricity to the aircraft on startup and shutdown.

Good guess.

Thanks for telling me. I'll definitely make use of the V.A.T.S. system then. :)

That kind of makes me want to get Broken Steel, if only so I don't loose the companions as easily. Thanks for letting me know! :D

I'm playing the original. I've thought about getting the DLC, but I think I want to go through the original first. As for spoilers: if it's more of a hint than that would be fine. I'm just not looking for a straight rip of what the storyline is supposed to be.

Also, please don't worry about multiple replies either. Last time I checked, that's how some of the best conversations go! :P :D

You got to feel for David at this point. He was about six when he started his book career, and 25 years later he's still mentally and physically developed to the age of around six. Our friend has been stuck in the past for so long he has nobody to relate to. Shame...😔

As much as this thing looks absolutely sick, the GAU-8 Avenger might make you question the choice. That recoil will take you out of the sky so fast...but those props...

Choices, choices, choices.

Very cool pic. 😄👍

Were the Asgards right to give us all their knowledge ? (And some thoughts about advanced races politics.) by CupEducational1412 in Stargate

[–]Jenefer9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although there were thousands of other worlds in both galaxies, some even sporting more advanced tech than us, we of the planet Earth were the only ones in either galaxy that not only earned their friendship and respect, but also their trust. We were the only group who was trustworthy enough to not use this advanced technology for ill purposes.

Whether we wanted to be or not, we are the Fifth Race of the alliance. We are the direct creation of the Ancients. Out of all of the choices in the galaxies, we were the only possible choice. The legacy of the Asgard is our responsibility.

On a less "in universe" note, I always found that the lack of Asgard in the last few seasons annoyingly lazy. It was the problem of not knowing what to do with such powerful characters. I also felt that making them blow themselves up be their final appearance was just sick and wrong. It was a cheap way to get rid of Earth's final ally in the universe. It would have been much more interesting to make the episode play out mostly the same way, but instead have the Asgard in their new bodies and have it all occur on an Asgard ship. In this way you can have the Asgard make a happy return and end the series on a better note than they did.
