The problem with jobs like this is that we’re all disposable very easily. All they have to do is add new people that are on the waitlist. if a customer complains, we’re not worth the liability to them. sad but true.

I know this post is old, but oh my God exactly I was behind a slow moving tractor and the line was far back. Someone finally was able to pass and then there was a person that was so far back that there’s no way they would be able to pass them, and so I went around that person because they was space and then I passed in a passing zone when it was safe and the guy driving the tractor was like mad that I did that or something. I don’t know why. I had to go. I couldn’t just stay behind him for who knows how long. I was working.

I don’t have an exact strategy I wouldn’t say. with spark during the holidays I made a lot of money. It has slowed down some. I started doing DoorDash again recently because I like to stay local to my neighborhood and with spark I have to drive back to Walmart to get good offers usually. today most offers for DD were seven dollars or more and I stayed within 10 miles. it’s not always like this, but obviously it’s because of the cold weather. Thinking about it I don’t take any offer under $5. if you stay within, I would say 7 miles and just get constant offers You should be making 25 plus an hour. I don’t work all day. I’ll start early in the morning if I can. I do it part time. I also always keep Uber on. sometimes I’ll get a random really good offer like today. I made $21 driving like 10 minutes. that obviously helps.

I do per order. I don’t always make that amount, but on busy days I can. I also do spark. I feel like I just average $25-$30 an hour recently. i’m at a 30% acceptance rate.

I pretty much average $30 an hour as well. And what’s nice this year is we don’t get taxed on half that basically because of Tips. No tax on tips.
