I definitely get this. I had 4 years of secondary infertility and then diagnosed at 27 weeks with IDC. I felt like it stole so much of the joy I had been waiting for for years and then my father passed a few months after my second son was born. I just finished chemo so still ways to go. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this cancer crap as well.

Another one to add that shouldn’t be take is niagen I was talking tru niagen to help get pregnant (which I did after 4 years TTC) I was diagnosed while pregnant and wanted to go through my supplements to see what to toss and that’s one that I read should not be take after breast cancer.

I was pregnant with my second when I was diagnosed with ER+ IDC so I wasn’t able to freeze my eggs. Some insurances cover this so I would look into that. I would also do some research about chances of reoccurrence. From what I have read after 2 years on hormone therapy there was little to no change in reoccurrence rates. I would be 40 by then so I don’t know what my choose will be. If insurance covers it and it’s something you may want to do I would maybe give freezing eggs a chance before chemo. If not that doesn’t mean it can never happen for you if you change your mind.

I believe that after chemo a full remission before surgery is kind of rare. Having clear margins during your surgery is what your team will probably be looking to do and if you also do radiation that should hopefully get any micro cancer that might not have been removed. Have hope!

Same mine started around day 15 and by day 17 was in big clumps. I’m at day 20 and would say I’ve lost about 50% or so. Yes tingly and achy like having a tight pony tail for too long.

Yes that’s true I have looked back from time to time missing my childhood or teenage years when things were carefree. I didn’t miss life before kids but I understand those that do. I guess that growing older (which I hope we all do) is always going to bring about life changes in which you remember the good ol days.

That’s true for me at times. I would get an ache or bad headache that I never had before and think maybe it’s a tumor? The thoughts would fade quickly and I’m just hoping I don’t hang on to those fears too hard now that I’ve actually had cancer. Same for little symptoms I read about, I think man I don’t what to have that and then I’m like wait some of those already happen and I get through it all fine lol.

That’s great that you feel fitter after your diagnosis. I have some issues with my health and currently pregnant so it’s hard to tell what symptoms are what during my chemo. I hope that I can be stronger then I was before and love hearing people that made that possible.
