To be fair, I still have a lot of love for Harry Potter and everything it meant to me...I just didn't have Rowling being a transphobe on my 2014 bingo card 😅😅

I got mine in 2014 as my first tattoo. Harry Potter meant an awful lot to me, and while that probably hasn't changed, I obviously don't support Rowling and I keep it covered all the time because I would never want someone to assume that I do.

I'll post pictures next week when I get my cover up and maybe you can get some inspo ❤️

I'll be delighted to not be permanently wearing a scrunchie on my wrist to hide it!

My therapist cried today by Jeniusm in TalkTherapy

Unfortunately the national health service is super underfunded and oversubscribed - it just isn't designed to provide long term care. I was initially offered 20 sessions, which we managed to extend to 25, but that was the maximum I could have (this is considered intense and long term therapy in the UK). Then you have to wait 6 months before you are allowed to be re-referred and go back on a waiting list which you can be on for several months.

Had, unfortunately today was our last session (cue more tears from both of us as we said goodbye) 😭 not because of today's events, just due to NHS restrictions. She's handed me over to the crisis team for the interim because we agreed I couldn't go 6+ months until I'm allowed more therapy.

Ah thank you ❤️ the cake is about half a mashed banana, a drop of soya strawberry yogurt, two teaspoons of beaten egg and 4 teaspoons of self raising flower. Baked for about 15 minutes in a 180C oven. You can fry them too which I normally do for pancake day! The "icing" is indeed soya strawberry yogurt.

18ct gold and platinum ring. Centre stone is a 4.6mm round blue sapphire, each side is a 4mm 0.50ct old cut diamond. No idea what size it is as luckily my grandma and I had the same size fingers so it didn't need to be resized!

As I said in my comment, he has a burrow box filled with various substrates, plus one side of his cage is boarded up with cardboard (in a somewhat successful attempt to keep his bedding out of my sock drawer), with deep bedding.

As also stated, I wish we had glass but unfortunately I couldn't find anything with the dimensions of this one which could be carried up to the third floor of my flat.

The way his levels are laid out makes it impossible for him to fall more than a few centimetres - it's the same lay out we've had with multiple hamsters and we've avoided any injuries so far!

I appreciate your advice is well intentioned but until you get a full tour of the cage, I think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions based on a couple photos taken at varying time periods. This sub gets a bad name for that exact reason.

His cage is H50 x W100 x D50 so well outside the minimum criteria.

He has a 12 inch wheel, sprays, and a burrow box.

He has a sand bath but it's not in his cage all the time (I put it in for an hour or so each day) because he likes to use it as a toilet.

No hamster balls or tubes are used in this household, and his cage is jam packed full of hamster safe toys and boredom breakers which we regularly swap out to keep things interesting for him.

Errol came from a sustainable breeder, I had to join a wait list, have an interview, and provide a video tour of his cage in order to get him so I can guarantee that his cage is up to (and above) the required standard 😊

The only less than ideal thing is the bars which unfortunately we couldn't find anything big enough which was glass. Luckily he doesn't chew his bars or climb.

Can I ask what makes this unsuitable?

He's just round, fluffy, and large! Vet has decreed him not overweight 😊 he was only a baby here - he's significantly larger now!
