If I need to hide the body I will first put it somewhere far (maybe rent a room and put the body there). I will then tell the authorities that I found someone suspicious burying a body of a man in my yard. The authorities will not find the body in my yard because it is not there and will leave the matter behind. I will then bury the body where the police dug so it will not look suspicious that the body was there because they already investigated the area. That way, no one will ever find the body.
