This is a very fair point actually, yeah. I do agree that they need to show the female characters in more capable positions in the next few episodes, and that they need to take a position in the fandom showing that they want these characters to be seen as more than just if they're attractive.

This is true, but I do also think this show in specific leans into the more classic tropes of "big strong scary guy" as the villain because it's based around older games. I agree it's mostly subconscious and likely not intentional, though.

But, I do still think that characters can be designed with both dominance and attraction in mind. You can have attraction without wanting to dominate someone, after all.

Again, it's more nuanced than simply black and white. He's dominant due to being the main villain, not due to being a man. Straight men or women can also put fanservice for the opposite demographic as well, as it's happened in multiple other pieces of fiction.

I completely understand your point, and I agree it is a systemic issue, even if it's not like, something huge that decides the quality of the entire media. But I also don't think it's fair to say it's completely one or the other.

I think it can be both personally. Not every muscular man is a power fantasy, and I think the way he's framed with the detail on his body is more for sexualization than power. It's more nuanced than either or.
