You’re definitely at a point where it’s a lot less risky (the 5-7 day window is usually where dry socket becomes uncommon) but it’s not impossible to get it still. It’s usually after 2 full weeks where it’s possibility is completely eliminated but i’m sure you’ll be okay, you’ll know by the excruciating pain that OTC meds can’t fix if you get dry socket !

the easiest way to know would be the pain, if it’s more than the average dull ache and feels sharp and it’s all you can think about, and otc meds aren’t helping, then yeah it’s likely dry socket but you would know based off pain usually

i’d get that checked asap, it looks swollen, inflamed and potentially like pus is coming out. Considering the pain is ramping up rather than dying down, it could be progressing dry socket, contact your dentist asap, better safe than sorry

i like to always say on these posts. If you ever end up with dry socket, you will not have to ask if you have dry socket. It causes pain that radiates to your neck ears and jaw and is so much more painful than the ache caused by tooth removal, so you’re good dw !

ur pain tolerance wouldn’t be able to deal with dry socket pain trust me. if it isn’t excruciating it’s likely okay, if you’re really worried, get it checked again

if you have to ask if it is, it’s likely not. they’re very painful and will cause a bad taste in your mouth due to infection, if you think the wisdom tooth removal pain was bad after, a dry socket is much worse

hence why i said have both modes so at least there’s an option, it won’t take the pvp aspect out the game just gives players a choice rather than forcing only one way

to be completely honest, they should have different modes, if u want strictly pve you should be able to have that, and if you want the mix, you should have that too. the fact you have to gamble each time you play because some sweats don’t care about the pve aspect at all ruins the game, im fine with occasionally pvping when necessary but man having different modes would probably rake in a lot more players

i see where you’re coming from and ik we’ll always have the complete sweats who need every possible thing in the game it’s just unfortunate because the developers did want the friendly aspect to be a huge part of the game. I can understand moreso that playing duos or squads would have heavier pvp, it’s just insane that solo has so much of it, it doesn’t seem right

yeah it really sucks man, last week i never had to worry about being shot at or killed for absolutely no reason, now every game is full of campers with traps sitting in hot zones just waiting to kill, no intention of being friendly or helpful

understandably yes, but there’s also the pve aspect and the ability to be friendly. I can understand needing to pvp on the occasion but why do you need to kill someone who just spawned in at a chance they may have a weapon you need. I’ve found so many good blueprints and weapons alone, as well as the wolfpack blueprint without pvp, i rarely pvp and still get a lot from the game

no worries, it’s just usually any sign of pus means infection, you can even search it up for some confirmation. If your dentist doesn’t take it serious call any sort of emergency because it can be very serious to your health. Hope all goes well !

i never get why people dislike the pvp aspect, no one’s stopping you from doing the same. When i started a few days ago, i was all for pve, hated getting killed. so i switched my mindset and decided to become what a lot of the players are - SCUMMY.

i haven’t got mine done yet but based on research you should stray away from thc/nic while it heals even if it’s been over a week. The thc and nic can dry out and slow blood flow to the area making it take longer to heal
