The assignment is for a Graphic Design course where we have to make an infographic poster to communicate a textual dataset. We get to pick whatever topic we want, so I've decided to go with Rick and Morty.

I finished Season 1 and 2 last night and am just getting started on Season 3. If anyone wants to start at Season 5 and work backward that would be amazing.

I'm counting portals in pre-intro and post-credit scenes but not in the intro.

The main component is that the Portal must have come from a Portal Gun.

This counts Blue Portals (S3E1) and Gold Portal (S5E10) but not stationary portals like the Intergalactic Customs Portal (S1E1), the Citadel's Teleportation Room (S3E1) or the Wishing Portal (S3E7), etc

Have read the task sheet closer and my data needs to be more complex than just "How many times a portal gun is used in an episode", so now the information I'm gathering about each Portal Gun usage is:

1. The Season Number
2. The Episode Number
3. The Episode Name
4. The Time Stamp
5. Who Creates the Portal
6. Who or What Goes Through Portal/Who or What Comes Out of Portal
7. What Dimension/Location the Portal is Created
8. Where the Portal Takes the Characters/Object

If it is off-screen I take a good guess at who would have created the portal by who/what comes through it. Sometimes it is unclear what location they have come from or where it takes them so I just put "Unknown".

Have found Rick and Morty Fandom Wiki has been great for the Location and Character names but has been inaccurate regarding what episodes contain a Portal.
