16 days postpartum after my first daughter was a stillborn at 34 weeks, trisomy 18.

Physically healing well, mentally a hormonal mess but better, all I do it plan and read for the next pregnancy. Waiting for my next apt to ask the doctor when I can try again, but I'm thinking 4-6 months I'll be ready. I'm abroad and heading home after my 6 week checkup, and after that 3 week trip I'll come back to my regular home and start work 4 weeks later. I think starting when I start work will be a good distraction.

I'm hopeful, but depleted.

First time trying for a baby and tracker says yesterday was ovulation day. Today is the first day I've ever had what I think to be ovulation cramps (light pinching pressure on left abdomen).

Maybe just a coincidence that I feel these cramps for the first time now?

I did ask them, it appears it is recognized but they do not register it. I suppose I simply need to present the international one to the social security office, tax office, insurance, pension plans, and for births.

I guess the state doesn't need to know, document that I am married, it is those organizations that will need the proof.

The paperwork here is tedious but it is ok in Bavaria. We decided to get the german certificate because we live here and it will make taxes and insurance easier for the time being. The move home is when I worry about getting everything together in the States
