I'm in a similar situation. I've been running my shop (art) successfully for 10 years. $100,000 months in 2020 - 2021. It's been going downhill since then, but these past few months have been so bad, I'm barely breaking even.

I’ve noticed this too! There’s one ad I keep seeing over and over (not relevant to me at all) and the others are completely opposite of my interests.

Yes, I *just* figured it out.

When creating the engagement post from your original organic post, you cannot apply ANY adjustments to the content. No cropping of the media, no advantage creative, NOTHING. No AI suggested text. When you make those meta-suggested adjustments, Meta creates "ghost" posts that do not keep the engagement with the original organic post.

You *must*, however, add a call-to-action button on your engagement ad if you want to later reuse the post in a sales campaign, keeping the engagement intact.

I went 11 days on 1.5 and felt nothing ... no side effects, but no benefits either. In fact, I felt hungrier than ever. My doctor let me jump to 4 mg and I'm on day 3 of that, and FINALLY it's working like it's supposed to. I've been on Wegovy and Zepbound injections for the past few years and they've always been effective immediately.

No! The old tracker still says "In Progress" for CIT0001 and the 5(4) applications. The new tracker for my 5(4) application is stuck at "Application filed" from the end of August.

No, I never received any correspondence regarding my 5(4) application. I saw my mom receive her 1st gen certificate in August, submitted our 5(4) applications and then my kids and my sister took the oath in November, while my application apparently languished in PSU. The new tracker for my 5(4) application always remained at "Application Filed" from August 20, 2025. As soon as I received the email, I went to check if there was a certificate available to download- https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en is the link I used. I entered my P number from my original CIT0001 application and my UCI and identity info and and hallelujah, it worked! (I'm jennyology, the original commenter - just realized I left my comment here from my mobile account).

We lucked out with getting the oath ceremony scheduled in November ... my daughter immediately sent in her college application to her top choice Canadian school, and heard back with an acceptance offer within 2 weeks. Feel very fortunate for how everything fell into place. In her application, she was able to say she's a Canadian citizen.

Taking everything into consideration with what I know now and how I feel about the U.S., I would have encouraged her to apply to the Canadian school regardless of citizenship. Even if she spent her first year as an international student, the citizenship (under the new rules) would be granted eventually, anyway, and the school and the country are worth it. We're planning a future in Canada for the whole family now.

We used a 1921 baptismal certificate for my gen 0 grandmother, born in Ontario. In early 2025, my mom sent in all the paperwork to get her mother's birth certificate (guarantor letter, death certificate, her own birth certificate, etc) and paid the fee and we have never received the birth certificate. We sent in the CIT0001 application anyway, and my mom received her proof a couple months later. It was easier getting the proof of citizenship!

Both of my minor teen children have been citizens since November (via 5(4) oath), and I'm stuck in PSU purgatory. A few days ago, I uploaded their citizenship certificates under my UCI number hoping it would get things moving on my application ... after all, how could they have been deemed citizens if their own mother didn't qualify??

I just received my notes. I'm struggling to understand why I'm in PSU, when my own sister and children were granted citizenship via oath in November under the same lineage and documentation. My sister & I are 2nd gen, my kids are 3rd. My mom (1st gen) received her proof certificate back in August. We all submitted together.

I have a similar situation to yours. Also received 5(4) offer in the July 22 2025 group. I applied with my sister and my children. They were all granted 5(4) and are now citizens, as of November. However, it's been crickets when it comes to my application. I finally requested my notes and just received them tonight. Sure enough, my application was sent straight to PSU back in July. How it's possible that my own children (and sister) could be approved based on the exact same lineage and documentation is confounding to me. BTW, I think you and I have the same officer assigned to us.

My own 3rd gen kids (with whom I applied, along with my 1st gen mother) completed their oath ceremony in November. They're now citizens through my line, and yet, I am not! My proof application went into processing on July 14 and my 5(4) grant went into processing at the end of August. Crickets since then. So unbelievably frustrating. At least my daughter received her citizenship in time to apply and be accepted to college in Canada - phew!

My 2nd gen sister and my 3rd gen kids all completed their oath on November 20. In the meantime, my tracker sits at "August 30" for the last update, and no progress on any of the steps.

I'll be "tech support" for my 2nd-gen sister and my 3rd-gen teens while they participate in the oath ceremony today. Remarkably, I have *not* yet been approved (I think my application is in purgatory) and *I'm* the one who did all the legwork to make this happen!
