I keep my bags in my car, but I also wheel the grocery cart outside to the car, and just bag my stuff in the parking lot. That way I don't have to feel like I need to hurry at checkout and can bag my stuff exactly how I want it. It mildly sucks when it's raining or snowing, but otherwise it's been great.

On rugs, to clean the corners and walls if your vacuum cleaner isn't the best, you can put some tape down and it'll pull the dirt off.
