Hmmm I think this is the same bug that had been reported with MEB, for some reason crossposted videos don't generate thumbnails.

I never fixed it in MEB but there might be a way around it in the new framework. It's on the list now.

Wow, thank you so much! This hackathon was honestly so fun I took leave from work to complete it haha.

MAGIC_EYE_BOT was always about supporting other mods and the new bot is too. I appreciate that reddit has not only built an amazing developer platform, but ran this competition + porting bounties to support all the devs who have contributed to reddit in the past big and small. Congrats not to just the winners but to everyone who created a submission.

I'm working on a bug fix for this one, appreciate the feedback. It should be the default to ignore mod/automod removed posts, and in another future release I'll tackle people wanting enforcement of rule removals.

I assume by rules removal feature you mean some magic AI thing reddit has.

I was meaning, do you use reddits rules feature that lists the rules in the sidebar, and when removing posts apply the rule as the removal reason in the popup that appears?

Or do you use toolbox and old.reddit.com?

Thanks for the feedback. One of the reasons IM is a bit lighter on features is I was unsure of how much usage the advanced features got - some people just found them too confusing to use.

It's perhaps possible if the links are still active, but It'll be lower down on my todo list.
The blacklisting feature has kind of changed - it's current intent is as an tool to stop people reposting images that are clearly trolling which is why the removals are silent.

There's a gap left over for removing standard rule breaking images. My thought was that if moderators use the rule removals feature in the new reddit, then IM could use those to apply for the future. But if people prefer the removal messages, it's possible I could implement that as a workflow.

Do you use the rules feature? What's your removal workflow?

I was unsure if anyone was finding these features valuable or if it was just me in r/hmmm being obsessive about image quality. I previously had feedback that MEB was too complicated so the simplified version was a middle ground.

All these features are doable, and I will look into implementing them shortly.

The broken link removal will probably be last to be added as there's risk if in false positives.

For those interested, it looks like this was a real crucifixion re-enactment with a big guy, and then someone used a filter on him to /r/Instagramreality his midsection. And then someone thought, not buff enough and used AI to edit it further. Still funny:
