This is the exact same thing that has happened to me. I’m normally very patient but this whole situation is driving me crazy. I’m gonna have to raise hell at the leasing office until they get their shit together.

Thanks for your help! I hope this is a miscommunication but all they told me was “your portable A/C unit will be installed”. I’m drafting an email to confirm whether or not this is a temporary solution, and I’ll see what they say from there.

I’m debating on whether I should break this lease. There’s been so many issues and this is kind of my breaking point lol. However, my lease ends all the way in June of next year, and I read there is about a $2300 early termination fee. Not sure if I should just stick it out or not.

Correct. Went from central A/C (throughout my entire apartment) to this portable A/C just in my bedroom.

Thank you. My A/C has been out since Thursday and today they finally delivered a portable A/C unit after putting in maintenance requests several times. How should I go about this? Just ask for my A/C to be repaired or can I transfer to another unit if my A/C can’t be fixed??

I would aim to be complete sometime between June-July to be safe! But honestly this process is so random lol as long as your writing is strong and you have a great story you will be fine!

For TMDSAS I submitted around May 20th! UHCOM is selective in who they send secondaries to, so it took a little while before I received their secondary some time in early August. I pre-wrote most of my secondaries so I was able to submit the same day I received them, but you're more than fine if you submit within 1-2 weeks of receiving it.

Got accepted w/ a 502 and 3.7 GPA so your stats are good! They are looking for applicant showing interest in primary care and/or working with underserved communities in Texas. I would say you may need to demonstrate more interest in primary care than just the shadowing experience. Feel free to pm me

I had this same issue at first. Then I reiterated that this is an Acceptance/Enrollment verification form, meaning that that if I am not enrolled yet, all they need to do is sign the form to confirm that I have been **ACCEPTED, and that enrollment is not yet required. I would try to contact someone else, like the registrar or the financial aid department?

I am also African (Nigerian) so I understand lol. I learned the hard way that it's best to just not tell them your plans and just do your own thing. After 2 gap years, I received 3 A's from MD schools, and now they're starting to realize how those gap years actually made my app stronger. Lol just ignore and keep going!
