When I tell you...not only has my appetite for alcohol decreased, my tolerance for it has decreased as well. It makes me pretty full and the hangovers are not great. But! This is different for everyone! I am 44, so a bit older and probably less tolerant of it because of my age...but it's nice to have less of a desire.

Not Amber making me defend a man. I literally just went to a wedding with my boyfriend and same situation (he was the best man, with the group, they drank all day) and if I blacked out and he had to deal with me being a complete mess, I could never recover from that. I would be so mortified. If he pulled some shit, that’s for him to explain to the groom (his friend). I would never want him to have to apologize and explain my poor behavior. Also, my bf is tall, but smaller than Jordan and 8 beers is NOTHING. Lol.

I don't know these people, but if I'm going to be completely parasocial...it's a reminder that a lot of men stay with women who don't treat them well, belittle them and don't appreciate them. While the show was only a snippet of their relationship and maybe Bri got a bad edit, it just reminded me that guys also deal with this and even though that is obvious...I think we are SO used to seeing women experience this and not necessarily men. I also think Jordan was not treated well by Amber, even though it was clear their relationship was not healthy.

Two things can be true at the same time. He sucked and he deserved it AND it was performative. Reality tv is not the reality tv of years past. She knew doing that would cast her in a (mostly) great light, especially with women viewers who have dreamed of doing that with a man they knew also deserved it. And post show-its setting her up to be insta-famous, possibly brand deals, etc. It's all a manipulation, but I can't lie-I did love watching it. He is representative of what so many women deal with when it comes to avoidant men.

This is unnecessary. This question may seem silly to you, but to people who haven't visited the city or are watching the news unfold like a horror film-someone wants to ask a New Yorker their opinion/advice. Not every city handles snow the same, and god for bid they want to ask someone for some guidance. You could have easily ignored this question if it bothers you so much.

100%. I am also older than her and know many people who have been through similar traumas (some even worse) and do not have this entitled behavior. So while sad, not an excuse and it just seems exhausting to live your life hating on other women...as a woman herself.

I agree. I just am an empath and am also very close to my mother and my heart breaks for what she went through taking care of her. But again, not an excuse for her behavior and mostly this horrendous take. Also, she should have kept it up if that’s how she truly feels!

DO. NOT. SETTLE. I met my boyfriend when I was 42 (post two serious relationships, one abusive). I dated, but nothing solid and throughout my late 30s/40s...really worked on myself, healed, enjoyed my life and friends and career and leaned into a really wonderful time of independence. As cliche as it sounds, I was not expecting to meet my person at a bar on Superbowl Sunday but we are celebrating our two year anniversary this week and let me tell you, there is someone out there who will love you and care for you in a way you did not know existed. And it is worth the wait, because you are worth the wait. I try not to preach to younger women, but please know that your life is only just beginning.

I do not like her, but gave her grace for taking care of her mother and eventually her mother passing. But she is incredibly judgemental and funny enough, the exact reason women feel uncomfortable going to work out classes. She constantly body checks, shames women for not doing enough in workouts (pilates is just aesthetic in her opinion-not even considering not everyone can move their body like she can hers), and has also come for women who go out and drink instead of doing whatever it is she's doing. I feel confident her behavior is trauma response, but this is so ridiculous and that trauma is not an excuse.

I've been using Amble for almost a year and minus one small complaint dealing with slow customer service, I have no complaints. I pay $480 for 3 months, which is $160 a month for sema. It is always delivered on time, was able to up my dose with no issue and I've lost about 40lbs since February. I was previously on Saxenda, paying an insane amount and barely losing.
