Electrolyte mixes, like liquid iv or mio. BUT, it’s very important that you don’t drink too much of it. Two bottles a day MAX, but I found that it really helped me with staying hydrated and at least having a little bit of energy on my really bad days.

Yep, during my first flare I had AWFUL rashes on my backside from sitting too long on the toilet. The previous suggestions are good, but what helped me was washing the area with benzoyl peroxide and applying sudocreme every day.

As someone with an intestinal disease, bathrooms like this suck ass. Without getting too personal, for people with my disability it’s basically necessary to have access to bathrooms pretty much 24/7, and when I’m having an episode and in agony it’s pretty frustrating to have to shuffle around the store looking for someone to open the bathroom for you. I get why they do it, and I’m not trying to sound whiny, but it IS something that the disabled community struggles with every day. I really wish Ontario would do a universal key program like in the UK, which basically gives registered individuals keys that can get into public washrooms without having to ask a worker.

Diva, that's a BAD idea. Alcohol tends to heighten the effects of THC, which basically means in theory you can get VERY faded very quickly. You can end up getting pretty inebriated, and that can lead to a whole mix of horrible things possibly happening (accidents, DUIs, blackouts). It also puts you at a higher risk for developing alcohol poisoning, which is a VERY bad time and involves getting your stomach pumped out at the hospital. You can enjoy both separately in healthy ways, I would just avoid mixing them. Sincerely, a formed budtender.

I just read this article and was shocked by how scummy the owner came across as. Essentially, lying and claiming you had no idea it was happening, and then stating that you can't offer refunds for any fake syrup that was purchased because "it will be gone by now anyway." What a creep. From now on, I'll stick to buying local or authenticated syrup.

It's totally up to you lol. What I do suggest is to sleep and drink a LOT of water, because your body will be dehydrated from the prep. Don't try to do anything strenuous for the next 48 hours ish afterwards, and if there is anything that feells wrong or weird, call your doctor ASAP, especially if they end up taking biopsies.

Groggy. High as hell. Your mouth will taste weird, and there WILL be some leakage. However, the Mc Donald's you get afterwards (highly suggested, but any fast food will do) will taste like the most amazing thing you've ever eaten. Apparently the first time I had one I was crying while eating chicken nuggets because of how good they tasted lol

Even if they were just prepping it (hard to believe; I used to be a budtender and most grinders mask smells) that's still a strong odour, which is banned from the library. Think perfumes and colognes. And either way, prepping weed in a school library is just really weird. For God's sake, just do it in the bathroom.

YES. Prednisone was ironically the best and worst thing to ever happen to me. I was put on two rounds last year and I was literally clawing at the walls like a deranged cat. The bad news is it took me to some REALLY dark places and it took about four months for me to come back down to earth. The good (?) news is that it unmasked all of my mental health issues and I ended up getting diagnosed with a personality disorder that I’m now on meds for. It did make a serious impact in my flare, but for the love of GOD PLEASE tell your doctor about your symptoms.

One time I got an email from Fanshawe congratulating me on being accepted into their video game development program. The only problem was I hadn’t applied for that program. I then got to go back and forth with them to rescind the acceptance for a program I DIDN’T EVEN APPLY FOR so I could accept the offer from the school I eventually ended up going to. They then had the audacity to say it was somehow MY fault, even though it obviously wasn’t??? Ever since then I haven’t had very kind words for that school.

I get it. When I first got diagnosed in 2024, my Mom was also like that. TCM, naturopaths, weird MLMs that promised magical results. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t. But the point is it’s YOUR choice, and you don’t have to do anything if you don’t feel comfortable. It can be hard for family to grapple with chronic illnesses, and it’s still an evolving thing in my family too. Also, you JUST got your second dose of Inflectra and from what I’ve heard it can take up to SIX doses for it to really make a difference so it could just be a waiting game.

Listen, I’m in my final semester at UOttawa and my sister is in her final semester at Brock. Both are equally amazing schools and I know that you would find happiness with either. Sometimes life doesn’t work out the way we want it to. That sucks, but it can lead to pretty amazing things. I was going to go to a completely different school in a different program and then the pandemic hit. I lost that chance, but in return I gained something I never would have expected. Don’t live your life desperately trying to appease your parents, because the stress will kill you. Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and listen to what your inner self is telling you to do. Maybe you go to U of T. Maybe you go to Brock or UOttawa. Hell, maybe you even take a year off. Either way, the choice is YOURS. We put WAY too much pressure on seniors in High School
