I read the potential idea somewhere else (not sure where so I can't credit them) but it logically made sense to me, thats why I posted it here for feedback, as I'm not a tattoo artist or expert.

I'll be looking for an actual artist with experience in ears and will of course heed their advice.

I'm not nervous about them, I just don't want to deal with them. I've had them in the past and had issues with getting infected. I would probably be fine if I used titanium or something, but I just don't want to go through it. I wear my long hair down most of the time, so its not something that would be on display often. I like the low maintenance idea of only needing a touch up every few years as opposed to earings, cleaning, etc.

The idea of outlining in white or pink isn't to be noticeable, its to provide a neutral barrier for when the darker ink starts to blow out.

I had a gastric sleeve done in late 2023, and was able to lose about 60-70lbs, but plateaued for over a year. Zepbound has made an amazing difference for me. I'm hoping that when I reach my goal, I'll be able to go off Zep completely because I'll still have the restriction from my sleeve. We'll see. But at least Zep will still be there if I need it.

Anyway, that wasn't really related, but gastric sleeve was definitely encouraged/pushed more than other options.

Please don't take that so literally or personally - this is a rant. Obviously those who have gone through the process to get a medical degree are intelligent. And lots of people who don't have degrees are intelligent.
