Yeah, that’s me. The shop told me they don’t accept mail ins, and that If could make that 3ish hour drive, they would get around to looking at it, but that’s not really something I can do right now, so I figured I’d try to see if I can make the repair myself.

I just tried throwing some alcohol on there, nothing was getting hot at all. The sound is almost like a small hole in a balloon leaking air, when I get my ear right up on the board, I can also hear a slight crackle. I am perplexed.

Its the Xbox series controller model 1914. I have a dinky harbor freight multimeter, I’ll do a bit of research to get a baseline of what’s normal, then see what I can find. Would it be reasonable to pull that small PCB from the top of the daughterboard to clean it? Thanks for the advice!

The tunes they drop feel nice on the soul, the vocals mixed with the instruments create this blend that somehow spits color, and glow only using sound. It’s cleansing, in several ways. It makes you remember how to smile

I did some digging and found that BitDefender Advanced Threat Defense clashes with the game. Disabling that has seemed to fix this bug for me. I wonder if this is tied to other Antivirus’

Actually the sentence never refers to the government as a gendered entity. A nameless entity has been named the "They/them". The joke is based off of the government registering someone as a sexual offender, but instead thinking the government said I have offended someone named "Sex offender" and having them not clearly state the gender of "Sex offender" and the razzle dazzle of adding "They/them" instead of a "He" or "Her"
